Club Championship Information

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS RULES

1. Club Championships are held at the end of each season and are:

 Start time is 6.30pm

3. The length a Swimmer can compete in is dependant on age, and the season of Championships

a) Summer Championships: Outdoor Long Course 50mtr pool

 

b) Winter Championships: Indoor Short Course 25mtr pool

 

4. There shall be seperate championship events for Boys and Girls.

5. Awards will apply to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each event.

6. All events shall be conducted under the rules of Swimming NSW in the presence of a club nominated referee.

7. Age for championships will be the age at the date of the championship meet (where the meet is held on one day) of age as at the date of the first day (if the meet is held over more than one day).

8. All members are invited to swim at Club Championships regardless of membership category or eligibility for awards.

9. To be eligible to compete for awards in Club Championships, swimmers must be financial and must swim at a minimum of not less than 50% of Club nights not including Club Championships and in accordance with clauses 2, 3, 4 and 5 of 100% Attendance.

10. Second claim swimmers are not eligible for point score awards, Club Championships or Club records.

12. Club Championship entries will be on approved forms which will be posted on the Club’s website.

13. The club champion in each age group for each of boys and girls will be the swimmer in that age group awarded the most points from Club Championship events using the following point score.

 

14. Seeding for Club Championships will be based on Club times.

15. Individual event awards and Champion awards will be awared at presentation night, not on the night of the event
